Centro Fiorenze in Florence

Centro Fiorenza in Florence

"A School with a View"

Founded in 1982 the CENTRO FIORENZA has its premises right in the center of the historic city, in a prestigious seventeenth century palace. From windows overlooking the river Arno one can enjoy a delightful view of Florence and the famous Ponte Vecchio.

The medium size of the school, and classes limited to 10 students, permits our teaching staff a personalized control of each student and offers the possibility, even to beginning students, to reach, in a short time, that necessary mastery of the language to face all the situations of daily-life.
One of the school's main characteristics, which is much appreciated by our students, is its friendly atmosphere that is established right from the first day with a "Welcome at Centro Fiorenza". Students at CENTRO FIORENZA do not feel like "foreign tourists", but rather part of a lively international family.

CENTRO FIORENZA is under the Patronage of Florence's Town Hall, is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by the Swedish CSN, is member of the International House World Organization, IALC (International Association of Language Centers), Eduitalia and founding member of ASILS and PROFIL.

Centro Fiorenza on the Island of Elba

"A Green Garden set in a Blue Sea"

Centro Fiorenza’s branch on the Island of Elba, opened in 1984, keeps all the characteristics of friendliness and professional standards that distinguish the school in Florence.

To get the most out of Elba’s mild climate, classes, conducted by the same expert teachers of Florence, are usually held outdoors, in secluded and shady spots.

The school is located in Marciana Marina, the most exclusive place on Elba and a beautiful fishermen’s village where one can still find and breathe the atmosphere of the past.
Strolling along the charming seafront promenade you can admire a breathtaking “tramonto”, following the sun disappearing slowly in the water, behind the Saracen Tower (12th century).
The colorful tiny streets, the arts and crafts shops, restaurants and bars are nice temptations after a day on the beach. In Marciana Marina you have on hand banks, post office, ATMs, weekly markets, supermarkets, open air cinema.

A rich choice of cultural events like the world renowned classical musical Festival “Elba Isola Musicale d’Europa” at the end of August, concerts and theatre, or sports like the Elba marathon and several regattas, are organized during the summer period.
The village offers sand and pebble beaches with transparent water, diving and sailing possibilities.
Marciana Alta and Poggio are a stone’s throw away for trekking or mountain biking. Procchio with its beautiful sandy bay is only 5 km. away.
